Summer Fireworks at The Butchart Gardens

Did you know the The Butchart Summer Fireworks began in 1977?

The choreographed 30 minute shows continue to be just as jaw-dropping year after year. 2018 show times and dates vary from year to year. so please check below for the detailed schedule.schedule. The same show happens each Saturday but changes from year to yearAfter the show, we invite you to linger a while to minimize conjestion leaving the parking lots. Take some time following fireworks to enjoy the Night Illuminations throughout The Butchart Gardens or a half hour live recital from the rare Aeolian Pipe Organ situated in the loft of the Organ Pavilion adjacent to the Concert Lawn.

VIP fireworks seating makes for an especially memorable evening, or a great gift for valued employees and can be a great way to say thank you to special business clients. The VIP package includes:

  • Expedited entry to The Gardens
  • Reserved seating in the VIP Private Viewing Area
  • Reserved parking
  • Only a limited number of VIP Fireworks seats are available each Saturday so reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations may be made Monday through Friday, with a 3 pm cut-off on the
  • Fridays before Firework Saturdays.
  • Same day phone reservations are not possible.

Rates
Adult : $250 + tax
Youth: $230 + tax
Child: $218 + tax
Add-On After Admission: $215 + tax

Before the Firework Show enjoy the Summer Evenings at The Gardens live entertainment on the Concert Lawn (every night during July and August) and on each Fireworks Saturday.

Enjoy a Picnic in the Gardens at HCP – Free Admission too!

The annual summer Picnic in the Gardens at HCP has returned! Bring a picnic and enjoy your dinner in a beautiful setting. Admission is by donation.

Picnic in the Gardens at HCP happens on four (4) dates:

May 30, 2018 – 5:00 – 8:00 pm

June 27, 2018 – 5:00 – 8:00 pm

July 25, 2018 – 5:00 – 8:00 pm

Aug 29, 2018 – – 5:00 – 8:00 pm

And if you liked picnicking in the garden, The Gardens at HCP is the place to say “I do” for your wedding! With a variety of spaces, including a Japanese garden, they offer everything you need from beautiful spaces for your ceremony, photography, and reception. They were named the ‘Best Outdoor Venue’ of 2016 at the Vancouver Island Wedding Industry Awards, so it’s easy to see why they book up so far in advance!

Victoria Cherry Blossom Festival

Experience the second annual Victoria Cherry Blossom Festival at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria!

This event is a collaboration between the Victoria Nikkei Cultural Society (VNCS), The City of
Victoria, Haiku Arbutus, and The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. Happening this Sunday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, come out and enjoy the early cherry blossoms, Japanese cultural activities and refreshments.
