Transitioning your garden to be more drought tolerant? Maybe you’d like to grow more food for your family? Perhaps your goal is to master citrus? Whatever your goal may be, comment on this post with an answer to: ‘What is your garden goal this year?’ and you’ll be entered to win a $250 gift card to the store! HOW TO ENTER
There are three ways to enter for the grand prize of a $250 Gift Card to Minter Country Garden: IN-STORE: Fill in a ballot answering ‘What is your garden goal this year?’ FACEBOOK: Comment on the contest image on our ‘Minter Gardening’ Facebook page answering ‘What is your garden goal this year?’ INSTAGRAM: Comment on the contest image @MinterGardening answering ‘What is your garden goal this year?’

There is one grand prize of a $250 Gift Card to Minter Country Garden

THE RULES
No purchase necessary. Contest is open to BC residents aged 18 or older only. Winners must claim their prize in-store and show valid photo ID, including address. One winner will be selected at random from all entries submitted. Chances of winning are dependent on the number of entries received. Deadline for entries is 4pm PST June 23, 2019. The winner will be announced on our social media channels on June 23, 2019 by 6pm PST. One entry per person, per platform please. If you follow us on Facebook, Instagram and visit us in-store, you can enter three times total. Only one comment/share/tag/ballot per person, please. Minter Country Garden team members are not eligible to win.

Join in Canada’s and British Columbia’s Celebration of Gardens this June!

Garden Days British Columbia, recognizing Canada’s National Garden Day, to be celebrated on June 15th, will mark the launch of Garden Days B.C. 2019 across BC — Saturday, June 15 to Sunday, June 23, 2019.

Garden Days is Canada’s coast to coast to coast, nine-day celebration of our National Garden Day which is held annually on the Friday before Father’s Day. This nine-day program of activities and events is for gardening enthusiasts, families, schools and tourists alike. Garden Days is an opportunity for Canadians to enjoy their own garden, visit or take part in their favourite garden experience, get inspired at their local garden centre or travel to a nearby destination to enjoy their favourite garden.

    Enter our Spring 2019 Photo Contest

    Tulip Photo Contest Alert:  Gardens are meant to be experienced, walked through, studied, revelled in, and shared; tulips even more so. To help spread the tulip cheer, we think a photo contest is just the thing to get people tip toeing through British Columbia’s gardens, parks and tulip festivals along BC’s tulip trail.

    The first tulips to bloom in Canada every year can be found in British Columbia. In fact from Vancouver Island to the mainland, through the Fraser Valley and to the Okanagan, a veritable tulip trail exists from early March through May, every spring.

    Follow Gardens BC on Twitter or Gardens BC on Instagram or Gardens BC on Facebook, upload your favourite BC tulip photo, taken this year or in previous years, caption it and tag it with: #exploreBCgardens AND #BCTulipTrail. That’s all you need to do to be entered to win one of three fabulous prizes from our signature gardens.

    The photo contest runs from Monday, April 15 to Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Winners will be randomly drawn and announced at 9:00 PM the day the tulip photo contest closes. Contest is open to BC, AB and WA  residents only. Read the full photo contest details are below.

    • Our Tulip Photo Contest is open to BC, AB, and WA residents aged 18 or older

    Garden Day in Riley Park

    Garden Day in Riley Park

    Celebrate Garden Day in Riley Park on June 23, 2018!

    A collaborative event between the Riley Park Community Garden and the Riley Park Famers Market, Garden Day at Riley Park will be an opportunity for new and seasoned gardening enthusiasts, families, schools and tourists alike to visit and share their knowledge and passion for gardens and gardening.
    Through a Community Garden Work Party, a Farmers Market Scavenger Hunt for Kids, a Pollinator Workshop and more, and will educate residents and visitors of the neighbourhood about the community’s garden culture and history; the importance of public and private gardens; the values of home gardening; the health, well-being and aesthetic benefits of gardens; and the promotion of environmental stewardship.

    10-2 Scavenger Hunt in the Market for Kids
