Tai Chi Chuan is a one of a kind health and mindfulness practice that draws from thousands of years of history and tradition. Involving a series of gentle movements and simple postures which are designed to improve coordination, balance and relieve stress, Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
The Dr. Sun Yai-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is offering drop-in Tai Chi classes on Sundays, included in your regular admission. Join our instructor in the Hall of One Hundred Rivers for a one-hour introductory class to this ancient martial art. Learn the 108 Movement Traditional Yang Style Form along with Push Hands, Qigong, and self defense applications. Harmonize Body, Mind, and Spirit in the tranquility of a classical Chinese garden.

About the instructor
Sifu Lucas Trottier has been training in martial arts and Qigong for well over twenty years. His main studies are Old Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, Shorinji Ryu Karate, Okinawan and Japanese Kobudo as well as the principles of Aiki-Jujutsu. Sifu Lucas also studies Kashima Shinto Ryu Kenjutsu, Daito Ryu, and Isshinho Medicine. He is the Head Instructor at Vancouver Dojo.
