Try a Tea Ceremony in BC’s premier Japanese garden!

The Urasenke Foundation of Vancouver hosts tea ceremonies at Nitobe Memorial Garden throughout the summer. Visitors attending a tea ceremony can witness the formal preparation of tea and participate as guests.

Ceremonies are held at 12:00 pm (noon), 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm on the last Saturday of the month:

  • June 29,2019
  • July 27, 2019
  • August 31, 2019
  • September 28, 2019

Cost is $10.00

Please note garden admission fee is separate. Reservations are strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment as space is limited to ten people for each ceremony. Reservations of more than two people must be paid in advance. Socks are required.
