2017 Mid-Autumn Moon Festival: The Four Arts

October 6, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Mid Autumn Moon Festival at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden

When the colours of the leaves turn from lush green to shades of gold, you know it is time to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden!

On October 6, the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival returns bigger and better with a special focus on the four arts of Chinese scholars: calligraphy, painting, music, and weiqi. This year, the festival has expanded beyond the garden’s white walls and into the outdoor courtyard adjacent to the Chinese Cultural Centre. Come and enjoy live performances, fun activities, and delicious food with the entire family, and get an early start on your Thanksgiving long weekend.

*Tickets at the door are only available on the day of the event from 5:30 to 10 pm. Online:  Buy Mid-Autumn Moon Festival Tickets

Event highlights:
