On January 6th each year, the Blue Poppy Restaurant closes to permit the creation of the Spring Prelude Indoor Garden. Immediately all tables and chairs are removed along with the service line with its beverage service, sandwich and dessert display, hot food serving area, cash registers and other ancillary equipment. Then the construction process begins and over the next week a garden is born. On January 15th the garden opens to visitors.
